Feedback & reviews

“Pure filth. 8 out of 10″
IDJ Magazine

“…if i was completely unaware of or wasn’t keen on the genre that hovers around the more breaky of dancefloors – then this would be the tune that converted me – what an absolute corker… the rave era lives on! This is the kind of music Mantronix SHOULD be making – not sure as he’d do it this well though!”
Mark Archer (Altern-8)

“…music for driving around in a Ford Escort with those fluorescent blue lights underneath, around the dodgier parts of Essex”
Rob Da Bank (Radio 1)

“…sure is a belter – proper electro away from all the mullety fashion trappings the genre suffered from for so long!”
Oli Warwick (IDJ Mag)

“Pow!! the original is fuking ace – like an old school “breaks” track crossed with old school house. str8 into the sets it goes”
Tayo

“Will play out Lander – fat old school monster”
Laurent Garnier

“…well executed. The beats are fresh and funky, it is all well mixed and extremely likeable across many scenes. Good work! 8/10″
Dom (Stanton Warriors)

AGT versus Remerge – out now

Remerge Vol. 3, limited edition 12″ (300 copies, no digital) featuring the AGT Rave Cru track “Terror Overdrive” out now on Remerge Records

On the flipside is “Amenyall”, a wonky hardcore workout, secretly written by a producer who’s part of a hugely respected outfit that have massively influenced us, and pretty much everyone in electronic music and beyond, for near on 20 years…

Available now from the Remerge Shop, each order comes with a free AGT mix CD.

“downtempo’d dark fidget jungle meets oldskool stab-a-thon – it’d drop like a bomber raid in a club that one mate – skillz!”
Mark Archer / Altern8

“Top stuff, really like it! Great mix of old & new school styles, with a dash of HiJack thrown in for good measure”

Strictly Kev aka DJ Food

“one of the sickest tracks ever! keep killin it!”
Kid 606

“Where was you in 92? Who cares – I sure as fuck know it didn’t sound half as good as it does pushed in this AGT track. This is just plain beastly, tearing up the old school and making the new school look like the crying snot-nose bitches they are”
King Cannibal

“Terror Overdrive?… Strapped to a chair and soundly beaten around with laser stabs, concrete pianos and rolling snares…that shit is fuckin FIRE!!!!”
Drums Of Death

Evening Stance

Skam RecordsHere’s a track we wrote back in around 2001/2002 for the Skam Records website. It’s pretty rough round the edges, I guess it was never mastered properly…

Norberg Festival

Norberg Festival

Norberg Festival is a fantastic 3-day electronic music event, set in an abandoned iron mine in the Swedish countryside. It’s one of the most incredible settings for a music festival you could imagine – check Mike Golding’s photos of 2005 here, here, and here.

We’ve had the privilege of playing there in 2004 and 2005, and this year we were lucky enough to put together a small line-up of artists & friends from the UK, to play the 10th Anniversary – we’ll be joined by B12, Milanese, Syntheme, and Cursor Miner.

Norberg festival takes place July 30th – August 1st. Tickets and more information are available on their website here: NorbergFestival.com

Asha Grew Wings – James Fox Remix

Last summer, our good friends at Myuzyk released our digital, free-to-download EP Hilda Family, with an accompanying limited edition CD, containing 14 remixes by various friends and colleagues. There are a few copies of the limited CD left available to buy for £5 from Myuzyk – numbered to just 200 copies in a gorgeous hand-made sleeve. We also have a few copies secreted away in a box for a certain future project….

One of the remixes, by James Fox, has been put up by Myuzyk for free download, just for a limited time… James is currently garnering a lot of (well deserved) attention for his latest release on Midnight Minus Two, and has been remixed by Ramadanman – check his myspace for more details

upcoming releases

you wait ages for a release, then three come along at once….

B12First up – Monsters & Vortices EP – a 4 tracker 12″ on B12 Records, due out July-August this year. Masters are done and sounding great.

Lead track Monsters Exist is on the myspace player for preview.
The digital version of the release is set to contain a bonus track, a Digitonal remix of The Karman Vortices

Next – Lander EP – a two track vinyl on Handsette Recordings – with our original version and a fierce remix of Lander by Cursor Miner on the flipside. The digital release includes a bonus track Three Body Problem. Also due out July-August this year.
Lander and Three Body Problem are on the myspace player for preview

Lastly – The Dub Plate Sessions, Volume 3 – on Uncharted Audio.  One sided 10″ vinyl + digital.
Volume one was LJ Kruzer’s Bitch Owes Money, with a Posthuman remix, Volume two was Cyan 341, with an LJ Kruzer remix, so it seemed only fitting to finish off the trilogy with a Posthuman track, and a Cyan 341 remix.
Lead track Europa Sky is also up on the myspace player to listen now.

remerge-v3In addition to the three upcoming Posthuman releases, we also have a new 12″ out later this month as one of our other monikers – AGT Rave Cru

Terror Overdrive shares a 12″ with DJ Wasp’s amenyall on Remerge Record’s Volume 003.
Limited to 300 copies, with with artwork by Hanal (who’s excellent Skam Mix has been on rotation round these parts for the last week or so – check it here)

There are also two free tracks, Epidemic and Deathray 3000 available to download on the Remerge website now.

We can’t tell you who DJ Wasp is, but we can say, we’re honoured to share a 12″ with a massively talented producer whos material we have loved and been influenced by for over a decade…
